eNetMini.

MKC | Development | Assembly: in-house | eNet Mini

eNetMini is a compact single-board solution for sensors and actuators—flexible enough for use in both industrial and smart home applications. It can operate standalone or be integrated into systems such as Node-RED or openHAB. Communication takes place via MQTT or REST over TCP/IP—simple and efficient. Thanks to PoE and cloud-free operation, fast, secure integration is guaranteed.

  • Compact single-board computers for connecting sensors and actuators
  • Can be used standalone or in existing control systems
  • Suitable for industrial and smart home applications (e.g., Node-RED, openHAB)
  • Communication via TCP/IP, MQTT, and JSON-REST API
  • Integrated, customizable web interface for configuration
  • Operates without a cloud or app → maximum data security
  • Power supply via PoE (IEEE 802.3af)
  • Easy installation via an Ethernet cable
  • Optional enclosure or customizable via 3D printing
  • 3D data and resources available via GitHub
  • Ideal for decentralized measurement and control solutions
  • Developed and manufactured in Wuppertal
  • Customizable (firmware, design, OEM systems)

The different versions of the eNetMini.2105 device provides you with a lot of onboard environmental sensors.
It’s using the Bosch Sensortec and TI family environmental sensors, to integrate high linearity and high accuracy sensors for gas, pressure, humidity, temperature and ambient light.
To detect changes in infrared radiation which occur when there is movement by a person (or object) which is different in temperature from the surroundings the device uses an Panasonich passive infrared sensor.

The voltages required in the device are extra-low voltage (<60 volts DC). For this reason, contact protection is not required. However, should this be necessary, the use of the optional housing may be an option. If you are not satisfied with the form and function of the case, you will find all the data you need to modify and print it on Github.

Possible use cases are:

  • Personal air quality tracker
  • Air quality mapping
  • Enhanced context awareness
  • Indicator of too high / low humidity
  • Air quality & well-being indicator
  • Sleep / recovery tracker
  • Weather trend
  • Stair counter
  • Floor level detection
  • Motion detection
  • Ambient light tracking
